Viva Las Vegas! Rockabilly Weekend

Rockabilly Weekend at The Orleans in Las Vegas

Rockabilly Weekend at The Orleans in Las Vegas

Reviving musical roots

April 1-5

Las Vegas is known for its eclectic entertainment scene, so it’s fitting that the largest annual rockabilly event in the world takes place at The Orleans Hotel & Casino in Sin City. In its 13th year, the Viva Las Vegas! Rockabilly Weekend is a four-day event organized by rockabilly DJ, Tom Ingram. Fans from across the globe unite to experience, not only rockabilly and ‘50s music, but also burlesque performers, a classic car show, dance lessons and contests. In addition to the 50 bands and 15 DJs that will be performing nightly, musical icons Chuck Berry and “The First Lady of Rockabilly”, Wanda Jackson, will be performing as well. Of course, what would a rockabilly event be without a Tiki Pool Party and a plentitude of vendors selling all sorts of crazy paraphernalia such as vintage clothing, car accessories, records and event memorabilia.

For more information and to purchase tickets, visit www.vivalasvegas.net. Tickets sales vary depending on the event, e.g., a ticket for the car show, which includes the Chuck Berry concert is $25. Also, a four-day pass is available for $99.
