Zarkana by Cirque du Soleil at Aria

Aria Resort & Casino welcomed a new show on November 1, 2012. Zarkana is the latest Cirque du Soleil show to hit the Las Vegas Strip. With a limited run at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, Zarkana moved across the country to become a resident show and calling Aria home.

Zarkana is a visually spectacular production that stays true to Cirque du Soleil’s consistent awe-inspiring circus acts. Best described as a rock opera, this story is set in a seemingly abandoned theatre and revolves around Zark, a magician. To Zark’s dismay, he has lost his magic and his true love. Throughout his journey he meets a bizarre, yet talented, group of characters who have inhabited the theatre. In his quest to recapture what he has lost he must overcome unexpected obstacles. These obstacles are in the form of Mutants and four sinister sirens.

This fantastically twisted musical will delight audiences with magnificent acrobats, contortionists, high wire walkers, flying trapeze artists and more. The cast of weird and wonderful characters combines flavors of strange, chaos and love into one show. Zarkana is certain to become a huge success in Las Vegas.
