New Nightclub Opens at Hard Rock

Hard Rock Hotel Vanity Nightclub

Hard Rock Hotel Vanity Nightclub

Bedazzled Vanity

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino has gone above and beyond nightclub opulence with the opening of Vanity. Owned by The Nightlife Group, which also owns Body English, Rare 120 and Wasted Space, it smacks of over-the-top everything from customer service to décor. The focal point in the massive 14,000-square-foot venue is a cyclone-lit chandelier lit by more than 20,000 LED lights that hover over the dance floor. The foyer is all about the reflective tile and antique vanity mirrors; but the inner sanctum is where the truly grandiose (or garish, depending on your taste) décor lies. It was described by the hotel as “an eclectic jewel box with pearls, hand-cut crystals and reflective walls fused with metallic gold”; as though Henry VIII and Donald Trump joined forces to try their hand at interior design. There are two marble bars, 50 VIP booths and an outdoor terrace that features cabanas and fire pits. Other notable aspects are the nail and makeup technicians in the ladies bathroom saving the truly vain the trouble of carrying those pesky tackle boxes full of emergency primping supplies.

The club’s doors open on December 31 and is followed by a grand-opening party hosted by Diddy on January 2. Tickets for the New Year’s Eve party are available on TicketMaster.
