The boxing world is celebrating the arrival of 2010 with the much-anticipated welterweight bout between Sugar Shane Mosley (46-5; 39 KOs) and Andre Berto (25-0; 19 KOs). The 12-round fight will take place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center on January 30 and will be televised live on HBO’s World Championship Boxing. Mosley is the current World Boxing Association Welterweight Super World Champion and also is the recipient of some virtual smack-talking from his rival, Berto. Though it’s easy to talk a big game via the Internet because computers typically don’t fight back. But the two will be able to settle their differences in the ring and the true champion will be revealed within the month.
