Since Star Trek: The Experience at the Las Vegas Hilton closed in September 2008, the Sci-fi’s franchise fans have had little reason to travel to Las Vegas. Now, however, we might see a influx of fans on June 27 – that’s when an auction of Star Trek memorabilia will take place at Planet Hollywood.

Up for auction will be plenty of items from the latest installment – the 2009 movie version. If you want the futuristic fur parka worn by Mr. Spock (played Leonard Nimoy) from the movie it can be yours. Plenty of other costumes and weaponry from the movie will be available.

There will also be plenty of things for fans of the original series to bid on, including William Shatner’s Harley Davidson and a few item from Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry, like handwritten notes and a model of the Starship Enterprise from his office.
